ALS Clinics Start Implanting NeuRx’s Diaphragm Pacing Device

Use of NeuRX’s diaphragm pacing system (DPS) is on the rise among ALS patients and is currently being offered in three hospitals in the US. While DPS remains highly controversial within the clinical community, a group of French scientists suspect that DPS could be helpful for ALS patients much earlier and are planning a small clinical trial in patients exhibiting the earliest signs of breathing difficulties.
