New Brain-Computer-Interface (BCI) Technology Study Gets Funded

A joint project between Brown University (RI) and Mass. General Hospital has yielded a second round of clinical studies into the innovative BrainGate technology. BrainGate uses a computer-based brain implant in the motor cortex to enable paralyzed patients to direct muscle motion merely by thinking about it.
